Effective Date: 3 August 2025

To ensure smooth processing of cancellations, customers are required to follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Submit Written Notice

  •Send an email to billing@shaikcorp.co.za with the subject line “Cancellation Request – [Service Name]”.

Include the following details in your request:

  • Full Name

  • Contact Number

  • Service(s) to be cancelled (e.g., Hosting, ForgeCare, Website Package)

  • Reason for cancellation

Step 2: Acknowledgement of Request

  • SiteForge will acknowledge receipt of the cancellation request within 2 business days.

  • If applicable, we may request additional information to verify your identity and account ownership.

Step 3: Notice Period Compliance

  • Hosting and ForgeCare plans require one (1) calendar month’s written notice.

  • If the cancellation is immediate, the required fees (e.g., R100 cancellation fee for hosting) will be applied to your account or charged to your card.

Step 4: Calculation of Refund (if applicable)

  • For website packages, SiteForge will calculate the pro-rata refund based on project progress if the request is made within the 7-day refund window.   

  • Add-ons, upgrades, and domain registrations are not eligible for refunds.

Step 5: Confirmation & Closure

Once processed, you will receive a final confirmation email detailing:

  • Effective cancellation date

  • Refund amount (if applicable)

  • Outstanding fees (if any) Access to services will terminate on the confirmed cancellation date.

Step 6: Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
